Search and service information
Technical SEO and content work focused on service intent, BVI locations and the routes into the booking journey.
My work with Island Time BVI combines SEO, custom WordPress development and live integrations across booking, quoting, authorization and accounting. The project connects the customer enquiry with the operational steps behind a water taxi booking.
Client: Island Time BVI · Travel & marine transport · SEO, development & automation

Live integration status confirmed by Jason · October 2026.

A water taxi customer needs clear service information and a way to provide trip details. Behind that enquiry, the team needs to prepare pricing, collect authorization, record payment and issue the travel confirmation. My role covered both the website’s search presence and the tools supporting those operational steps.
Technical SEO and content work focused on service intent, BVI locations and the routes into the booking journey.
Structured booking records support passenger details, flight information, outbound and return arrangements, pricing and confirmation.
The water taxi Make workflow, QuickBooks integration and Evervault authorization forms are live. Custom WordPress plugins connect the website with the booking process and supporting records.
Work covered service-page structure, metadata, contextual internal links, content production, indexing review and technical performance improvements.
One-way and round-trip details feed a workflow with quote and confirmation tools. Pricing supports per-person and fixed-rate options, applicable fees and separate cash land-taxi costs.
A webhook-driven workflow passes booking information into Make. Entry ID matching determines whether to update an existing sheet row or add a new booking record.
The live integration connects booking data with the configured customer and sales-receipt workflow in QuickBooks Online.
Custom authorization forms integrate with Evervault for card-data handling and connect the authorization step with booking operations. The team retains responsibility for manually charging the payment.
The handover documents the custom code, integrations, operational responsibilities and next development stages so another technical lead can maintain and extend the system.
The process connects the booking stages while preserving the team’s review of pricing and payment. The Make scenario supports the records and accounting handoffs configured for the workflow.
Collect contact details, passenger numbers and trip arrangements.
Prepare and review the price for the requested travel.
Complete the relevant card-authorization step.
The team processes payment and records the payment details.
Issue the booking’s travel and payment information.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically charge a card. The booking tools support the team’s authorization, payment and confirmation process.
The supplied Semrush desktop Domain Overview for islandtimebvi.com, with Worldwide selected, reports the following rounded figures.
Additional snapshot figures: estimated organic traffic 1.8K; Authority Score 23; AI Visibility 16; 23 reported AI mentions; 39 reported cited pages. These are Semrush metrics, with coverage and definitions determined by the tool. Estimated traffic is not a measured GA4 session total, and backlink counts describe the observed domain profile rather than links individually attributed to this project.
The historical chart shows a larger search footprint from 2025 than in earlier periods, with fluctuations after the increase. The current snapshot also displays downward comparison indicators for estimated organic traffic and keyword count; the comparison period is not visible. This evidence supports a dated view of visibility, rather than a fixed growth percentage or a claim that performance rises every month.
The supplied WordPress plugin screenshot shows active custom modules supporting several parts of the business. Each has a defined responsibility within the wider setup.
A custom booking module supporting boat rental and charter requests, with payment-integration capabilities.
Booking, quote and confirmation tools with customer acceptance flows, office notifications and an optional email relay workflow.
A bridge that normalizes enquiry fields, creates water taxi booking records and triggers the configured Make and Google Sheets handoff.
Dedicated authorization and passport-upload modules support additional customer-information steps. Operational access and account configuration remain part of the internal handover.
The work connects customer-facing forms, booking records and team tools. Consistent field mapping and pricing rules help each stage use the information it needs.
The SEO work supports discovery, while the custom development addresses the process behind the booking.
The booking workflow, QuickBooks integration and Evervault authorization forms are live, supported by custom plugins and documented handoffs. This case study describes those functions and the supplied search snapshot; it does not claim quantified time savings or revenue gains.
