Case study · Handyman & property maintenance

GoHandyFix: a website, SEO foundations and a route to service enquiries.

Designing and developing a new website for a Boston handyman business, creating its service content and connecting online requests through Formspree.

For a business offering several kinds of home repairs, the website needs to help visitors recognize the right service and explain what they need. This project brought website development, SEO content, technical fixes and enquiry capture into one engagement.

The brief

Give a new handyman business a useful online foundation.

GoHandyFix offers a mix of general repairs and services such as plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry and appliance repair. Its site needed to communicate that range without leaving visitors to guess whether the business handled their particular problem.

As a new website, it also needed service pages and content that could support search visibility over time. The engagement covered both the site build and ongoing SEO work, with a form-based route for people ready to request help.

The work combined web design and development with SEO, rather than treating the website launch as the end of the project.

Work delivered

From the website build to service enquiry capture.

01 / Website design & development

A home for the business and its services

Designed and developed the GoHandyFix website to present the business, its repair services and contact options. The published site includes a footer development credit to Jason Itumay.

This is the kind of connected page planning supported by digital architecture: deciding how information and enquiry routes fit together.

02 / Service pages & content

Content built around the work offered

Created service pages and website content as part of the SEO engagement. The content work gave the new site material explaining the services, rather than relying on a brief list of repair categories.

For similar projects, content strategy and SEO content planning help define which pages deserve separate coverage and how they connect.

03 / Technical SEO

Technical fixes alongside the content work

Completed technical fixes as part of the website and SEO work. Keyword visibility was still developing for the new site; this case study does not claim specific ranking positions.

The relevant service is technical SEO. A review for another business would establish its actual issues before defining the fixes.

04 / Formspree integration

A route for service requests

Configured the website’s service enquiry form using a Formspree endpoint, providing a way for visitors to submit their request for the business to review.

The delivered scope described here is enquiry capture and submission routing. Appointment confirmation, CRM updates and automated follow-up sequences are separate capabilities, not claimed as part of this implementation.

The enquiry journey

Help visitors move from a repair need to a service request.

The website brings together service information and a contact route. Submitting a request starts a conversation; it does not by itself confirm a job or appointment.

01 / Find

Explore the service

The visitor reviews the relevant repair information.

02 / Ask

Submit a request

The website form captures the visitor’s enquiry.

03 / Route

Send through Formspree

Formspree handles the form submission for the business.

04 / Review

Business follow-up

The team needs to review the request and confirm next steps.

Reported outcome

Service enquiries after the initial optimization period.

After approximately six months of website and SEO work, handyman service enquiries were reported for GoHandyFix. This provides an early business outcome alongside the delivered website, content and enquiry setup.

A foundation for discovery and contact

  • A website designed and developed for the business.
  • Service pages and SEO content created.
  • Technical fixes completed during the engagement.
  • A Formspree-powered service enquiry route.

Historical analytics and enquiry records are no longer available for independent review. Enquiries are a reported outcome; their traffic source, conversion rate and resulting revenue are not verified here.
